Emberfall Saga

Emberfall Saga is the kind of RPG you can actually finish on a phone. Battles are turn-based and readable, the party is small, and every character has a clear role. I never felt lost about what to do next.

The writing does more work than I expected. Side quests have little payoffs, and companions comment on your choices later. It's not a novel, but it respects your time and still tells a story worth following.

My only complaint is the energy system that gently pushes you to wait between longer sessions. You can ignore it and still enjoy the core, though.
