Nacho Casinacho

Nacho Casinacho surprised me. On the surface it looks like a throwaway casual game, but the control scheme is tighter than expected. You tilt or swipe to steer a little nacho through stages full of moving trays, spinning fans and sliding ingredients, and the tempo ramps up nicely level after level.

Runs are short, usually under a minute, which fits how people play on the phone. I kept telling myself one more attempt, and that's a good sign. The hitboxes feel fair, so when you fail you know it was your fault, not the game cheating you.

There's a light progression where you unlock new kitchens and cosmetic looks for your nacho. Nothing deep, but it gives you a reason to keep going. It runs smoothly even on my oldest test phone, which counts for a lot in this genre.
